So UMass and Merrimack are both off to a decent start on the season, expected from UMass and well deserved for Merrimack. The boy and I will hopefully make it down to North Andover for a game or two this season, which should be fun. Lawler arena leaves a bit to be desired for quality, but the atmosphere is fun, and very OTH (old time hockey), so i'll take it. Maybe we'll even get some of the old crew together, which could be very entertaining.
In other news, I'll be on my own for a week after this Friday...i think it will turn out to be a week full of quiet baths and coconut ice pops. (he HATES coconut, so I haven't had a coconut fruit bar in almost 3 years....that will change next week!!)
The Sox are currently winning 10-2, top of the 8th...so it looks like we'll have a game 7. God Bless Red Sox nation...It's a great time to live in New England!
